On February 13, 2024, the Ministry of Environment and German Development Cooperation (GIZ)  entered into an agreement to carry out the Sustainable Consumption and Production Outreach-Next Five Asia Project in 2024.

Mr. B.K.Prabath Chandrakeerthi, Secretary of the Ministry of Environment and Mr. Tobias Stolz, Deputy Country Director, GIZ signed the agreement.

The National Policy on Green Procurement and the National Framework on Eco Labeling will be put into action with the help of this project.
