Hayleys Fabric PLC
The Hayleys Fabric Group (Hayleys Fabric PLC and South Asia Textiles Limited) achieved its Organizational-Level Greenhouse Gas Statement Verification, Water Footprint Verification, and Product Carbon Footprint of their Corporate Annual Report. They also obtained carbon neutral certification for their Corporate Annual Report. This verification aligns with ISO 14064-1 Specification, providing comprehensive guidance for the quantification and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions and removals at the organizational level, ISO 14046 for the Water Footprint and ISO 14067 for Product Carbon Footprint. This remarkable achievement was celebrated at a prestigious Certificate Awarding Ceremony held on 28th May 2024 at the Ministry of Environment, marking a significant milestone for the company. The certificates were awarded by Mr. B.K. Prabath Chandrakeerthi, Secretary to the Ministry of Environment and Chairman of the Sri Lanka Climate Fund.
