Media Discussion: A media discussion was held 25th September 2025 at the Department of Government Information to raise awareness about the 'Moon Memorial Museum' scheduled to open on September 28, 2025, at the premises of the Peradeniya National Botanical Gardens.The media briefing was chaired by the Honorable Deputy Minister of Environment, Anton Jayakody, and was also attended by Mrs. Anjali Kumaragama, Additional Secretary to the Ministry of Environment; Mrs. H. C. P. Jayaweera, Director-General of the Department of National Botanical Gardens; and Environmentalist Dr. Ravindra Kariyawasam.
