From 24–27 June 2025, FAO Sri Lanka, in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment, conducted a dynamic 3.5-day GCF Concept Note Development Training under the 3rd NDA Readiness Project funded by the Green Climate Fund. The workshop was led by Mr. Tigran Sukiasyan, an international expert in project development with over 20 years of experience and a former GCF project proposal assessor. Bringing together more than 40 key stakeholders, the training featured a highly interactive, section-by-section co-creation process focused on advancing two priority Concept Notes. Through a blend of expert guidance, collaborative group work, and real-time drafting, participants were equipped with the practical skills and strategic insights needed to design strong, fundable climate projects.
